If you want a true Master of Ceremonies/DJ, then you need to keep them in place behind the DJ Booth. This allows them to focus on announcements, music, timing, and guests.
Kena, the Event Director, will be free to move around the room and coordinate all the different events and vendors. Gathering the appropriate people for introductions, toasts, specialty dances and other activities can be a full-time job!
Of course you could always have the DJ get on the mic and announce, “Could we please have John Doe to the DJ Booth” But that would get pretty old throughout your reception… don’t you think?
Allow Kena to direct the details of your event off the mic, quietly, and behind the scenes. Allow the DJ/MC to do what they do best!
